So good, Billy... keep letting in pour out on paper. Make wall paper out of all the mistakes that usually get balled up and trashed. I discovered you through Elephant, so yay :)

So interesting. I was just listening to a podcast and they were talking about the importance of reading fiction to stretch our brains. It felt so good to honor the fact that I love a good read. Thank you Billy!

You love a good read because you have been gifted with a rich imagination. You exist in a fun minority and I’m so glad you read my work.

Wonderful! I started reading again this year, in hopes to be able to start writing again. I am all non-fiction, but who knows maybe I will feel confident enough to try some fiction one day. I wish you well, and look forward to reading anything you write

This is great Billy, I wasn't certain where you were going with this at first and loved hearing how it unfolded. RE: Elephant is back to monthly "winners." I have lost a lot of readers who read my work and offered hearts and comments, but, it's okay. And love to write, but, sometimes I feel I really need to find another place to share my work as well at EJ. I am though, enjoying being one of six volunteers as temporary (?) Editor-at-Large folks do an edit on the body of pieces and turning it back to the editor to finalize it. We are learning tons. I have never read King, perhaps I will check out his writing book. And I loved learning from Cheryl Strayed. Hearts to you.

Nothing is either all good or all bad…like that famous Dalai Lama story: “maybe yes maybe no.” For you, something was to be gained by the Elephant chaos. Once again, I really appreciate you.
